Garden
streams are best created with a flexible liner. Be creative
in how and where your stream runs. For instance, you could start it
out with a waterfall and end it with a pool for placing your feet
in. You can have it meander around a favorite garden plant or sculpture.
When you use a flexible liner, you can have your stream go just about
wherever you choose.
And you can make your garden stream look completely
natural by covering the liner with rocks. Add interest by adding a
rapid - place a large rock in the middle of the stream, and be sure
that you have a pump to push the water over it. Play around with rocks
and your pump.
You can even use a garden stream to divide two parts
of your yard while at the same time uniting them with a convenient
bridge.
One note of warning: be sure to be very careful and
keep a close eye on both pets and children who are out around your
stream.
